A handful of family lessons are built into our youth religious education program schedule to supplement the classroom lessons. These lessons will usually be held from 6:30 to 7:30 PM, and focus on devotional practices of building a strong faith and prayer life within the family. All students enrolled in the religious education program are required to attend with at least one parent. In the past, these lessons have included Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, Rosary, Stations of the Cross, Divine Mercy Chaplet, videos, and various speakers. All parishioners are welcome and encouraged to attend – the goal is to bring the entire parish family together for these faith formation events!
Family Eucharistic Adoration and Fellowship Events
This time of guided prayer and song is for families who would like to learn more about Eucharistic Adoration and experience this powerful prayer time together. Adoration starts at 6 PM at St. Peter Church and lasts about 20 minutes, followed by a potluck meal and fellowship in the lower level of St. Peter Catholic School. This is a First Friday Vigil (Thursday night) event hosted each month throughout the school year (unless otherwise noted).
